Grin and tonic?

CHEERS! Troubled George Michael sips a drink as he heads to a concert — and we bet it isn't pop... George, 43, left his home yesterday clutching a glass — a week after he was found slumped at the wheel of his car. He was cautioned for possessing cannabis. The Careless Whisper star was driven from Highgate, North London, for the Paris gig.

I too realise that it's not easy being stupid. I get it. And clearly they don't pay these dingbats enough, cause they clearly don't know that gin - as they're suggesting - is colourless. Like - to use an expression that most people have heard of - water. You know, the liquid we all see in the morning in the shower. Colourless liquid. Now, I know this may be hard to contemplate, but there is a drink on the market called Diet Coke. It's a fizzy drink that's often put in a glass with ice (as illustrated above) when you want it cold. And, behold, it's got colour. Some say dark brown. Some claim black. Now take a good look at the above pictures. Does it look like fucking gin to you?

It's probably Diet Coke, although round the rim of the glass it looks very foamy. I realise Coke does foam, but Diet Coke doesn't foam so much...it's my 'tipple' too, being teetotal! Someone on one of the boards said it might be some sort of health tonic thingy, which would make sense. George winding up the pap's I think...why come out of the house and get into a car with a glass in your hand? You just take 2 minutes and finish the drink inside the house!
If George ever comes onto these boards, he would just fall about laughing...or get really worried! We spend our precious time commenting on what he was or wasn't drinking! LOL!

It's also that fizzy drink that George once made a commercial about! By the way, I heard AN EASIER AFFAIR on XM satellite radio the other day, and was kinda surprised -- Station 29 -- UPOP.

Technically... it *could* be gin. Say, with added coffee liqueur, for example.... Or gin & stout.

But seriously now - I think the Sun should review its policy of employing journalists who have been lobotomized in the recent past...
